- Study groups – anyone looking to start/join one?

Wondering what it is – “Why would I want to be a PMP?”
- History of PMP and current stats
- Other PMI certifications
- Review of certification handbooks for requirements, processes, etc.

If you are interested in pursuing a career in Project Management or giving your current career a boost, the Wichita Project Management Institute (PMI) Chapter (www.pmiwichita.org) is hosting a Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam Prep Class February 14-16, 2012. The class will be held at Wichita Area Technical Colleges’ National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT) location (4004 North Webb Road).
The PMP® credential is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers. Globally recognized and demanded, earning a PMP® certification reflects achievement, could lead to greater earning potential and career opportunities.
The February Prep Class will help ensure you’re fully prepared to pass the certification exam. Local certified PMP® project managers will assist you through the entire process; from application to certification.
An informational session will be held January 17, 6 – 7 PM at the downtown Wichita Cargill location (151 N. Main). This session will provide insight on what this certification is about, the process of obtaining it, and how to keep it active once you have it.
