The History of Exploration Place
Judy Conners, Director of Development
We are very excited to have Judy Conners, Director of Development at Exploration Place, talk about the history of one of the nation’s premier hands-on science museums for children and adults, from ideation to construction to grand opening.
Judy joined Exploration Place in April 1996 and has managed all aspects of the Capital Campaign. Prior to joining Exploration Place, Judy worked with other organizations’ capital campaigns, including such positions as the Director of Development and Community Relations for the Salvation Army, and the Director of the Kansas Children’s Miracle Network, KU School of Medicine-Wichita and Via Christi Regional Medical Center.
