Using the Balanced Scorecard to Drive Behavior

The Balanced Scorecard is a tool that drives operational excellence and creates value at every level in the organization. Excel's I/T department uses the Balanced Scorecard as a tool to set goals, monitor progress, and drive behaviors. Reed will discuss how the Balanced Scorecard was implemented and will share examples of the department, team and project Balanced Scorecards being used by Excel I/T.
A Graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Business, Reed has spent the last 18 years in I/T departments for companies in the Education, Software Development, Manufacturing and the Food Industries. He is currently the Systems Development Manager at Excel Corporation in Wichita, KS.
