Case Study: Sedgwick County ERP Implementation
Joe Koehn, Sedgwick County Project Manager
and R. Keith Engel, Founder of SageThink.
Joe Koehn is the project manager directing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project at Sedgwick County. This project is using Critical Chain Project Management methodology. Mr. Koehn has over 10 years of manufacturing experience focusing in the areas of total quality, lean manufacturing & human resources. He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Secondary Education and is working on an advanced degree in Human Resource & Organizational Development.
R. Keith Engel is the founder of SageThink*, a company dedicated to making rapid operational improvement in organizations. Mr. Engel has over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry focusing on project management, change management, operations & maintenance management.
Mr. Engel has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and a Master of Business Administration from Wichita State University.
Joe & Keith will present a overview of Critical Chain Project Management & a case study of its application to date on Sedgwick County's Implementation of ERP. This project is currently in progress with a system cutover date of 1-02-02.
