Tour of the Big Dog Motorcycles Production Facility
Big Dog Motorcycles, LLC manufactures a line of heavyweight cruisers centered on a 107-cubic-inch V-Twin engine. The entire line uses computerized electronics, stretch tanks, wide rear tires and a huge variety of custom paint and graphics to personalize each motorcycle.
Big Dog Motorcycles completed their new facility in 2001. Big Dog's world headquarters features a conglomerated manufacturing area for production and operational efficiency. The production area features a seamless manufacturing area with motorcycle construction, paint and quality control linked for maximum output. The building also features a large shipping and receiving space and a state-of-the-art paint area. This facility gives Big Dog Motorcycles over 100,000 square feet of existing facilities, with space to add more warehousing in the future.
There is no special dress code for the tour. The tour will last approximately one hour. We may split up the group if there are 25 or more in attendance.
The group will be given a small safety and courtesy review. Please keep hands to yourself, no straddling the motorcycles, and ask permission before taking pictures.
There is no fee or meal at this meeting.
