The lecture will discuss the obstacles to communications, and the tools that help overcome these obstacles. This will be a practical interactive presentation.
Ms. Coleen Tabor is a consultant who specializes in Human Resource consulting and support for family owned and closely-held businesses. She has experience with many industries and works with senior management and supervisors to analyze and address Human Resource and management needs.
Ms. Tabor works within the firm’s Family and Organizational Development Group to assist clients with organizational analysis, Human Resource audits, training, teambuilding, policy and procedure review and development, family council development, management coaching and corporate strategy development.
Originally from Wichita, Ms. Tabor graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Psychology and Webster University with a Master's in Business Administration. Coleen is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a Certified Advanced Generalist, and a 2005 President of the local Society for Human Resource Management. She began her career as a consultant in a small business consulting firm where she helped develop and provide services for family owned companies. She also has experience as a Project Manager in a family owned manufacturing company and Benefits Administrator for a closely held company.
