Sedgwick County Arena Project Update
Ron Holt

Sedgwick County, Kansas
Ron Holt is the Sedgwick County Arena Project Manager. He will update us on the status of the Sedgwick County Arena project.
Ron served in leadership roles at Westar Energy (formerly KG&E, The Electric Company) for more than thirty years (1970-2001) – including those of director, community affairs; executive director, south field operations; chairman of the board and president.
He began employment with Sedgwick County in 2002 and is currently an Assistant County Manager managing three divisions (Culture, Entertainment & Recreation, Public Safety, and Community Development).
Ron has held volunteer leadership roles in numerous civic/community organizations. He believes “volunteerism is the rent we pay for living.”
His greatest asset is his ability to listen and his willingness to “seek first to understand then to be understood.”
