PMI's Information systems Specific Interest Group (ISSIG) hosts an annual Professional Development Symposium. The 2006 PDS will be in Cincinnati Ohio on June 3-6. You are invited to come for the weekend workshops where you will get coaching and feedback from mentors and peers or attend the symposium were the latest trends will be explored. The 34 speakers we have assembled are recognizable experts, approachable, and encouraging to our attendees. See the PMI-ISSIG PDS website for more information.
PMI has numerous Specific Interest Groups (SIG), each focusing on a specific industry or project management aspect. Examples of industry-related SIGs include Aerospace and Defense, Design-Procurement-Construction and Financial Services. SIGs that focus on a particular aspect of project management include the Metrics, Program Management Office and Risk Management SIGs. SIGs provide a forum to interact with others who share your project interests. See the PMI website for a complete list of SIGs.
