Wichita Chapter of PMI 2007/2008 Board of Directors Elections

Come support the PMI Wichita Chapter Elections. At our November meetings, we will be deciding our 2007/2008 Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee has compiled the following slate:

Nominations can be made at the meeting providing the nominated member has agreed to serve in the office if elected. Members have received a ballot by email that can be returned to the nominating committee if they are unable to attend the meeting.

PMP Exam Preparation Workshop - January, 2007

The Wichita Chapter has asked Lee Towe to return again to present his PMP Exam Preparation Workshop. The dates for the workshop are Tuesday and Wednesday, January 16 and 17. If you are wanting to earn your PMP certification, this is a great opportunity to ensure success.

Corporate Scheduling / Resource Planning
Delbert Kuhn

ICM, Inc.

This presentation describes the journey thus far in the development of a scheduling model / tool for a fast growing company full to the brim with business from an ever growing industry. This vision launched two projects to develop and implement a corporate scheduling and resource planning tool, and a core business tool change and upgrade.

This presention will include:

• The vision and status of the projects
• An Example of the current model / tool
• A Question and answer session

Delbert Kuhn is the corporate scheduling manager for ICM, Inc. ICM, Inc. is a design-build firm of Ethanol Plants and a manufacturer of Grain Drying systems. Delbert serves and works with the division leaders and staff at ICM, Inc. in a developmental role building a corporate scheduling model/tool to help ICM, Inc. compete in the ever growing Ethanol Design-Build industry. In the 17 years prior to working for ICM, Inc., Delbert worked in manufacturing, with roles in material planning, inventory control, procurement and production management.

Fee:           No Fee
                  Dinner is ordered off the menu at the menu price.
