Reverend Linda Stewart
Executive Director
Wichita Habitat for Humanity

Linda Stewart has been in her current role of Executive Director at Wichita Habitat for Humanity since February 2005, working to end poverty housing in Sedgwick County through the affordable home ownership program. Her full time ministry roles have included evangelism, missions, marketing, Internet ministry, disaster response, stewardship, and church administration. She and her husband, Richard, also served for three years doing disaster response and case management work in North Carolina and Texas.

Prior to nonprofit and ministry work, Linda was the Senior Director of Information Technology at Pizza Hut, Inc., specializing in software development and management.

Linda was in the Leadership Wichita Class of 1996, has served on the boards of Kansas Make-A-Wish Foundation, Camp Horizon, the 21st Century Coalition for Neighborhood Revitalization, and Habitat’s HomeMart. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Wichita and is a board member for the Nonprofit Chamber of Services.

A native Kansan, Linda received her Associate of Arts from Hutchinson Community College, and B.S. in Human Resources from Friends University, completed ordination studies for Deacon in Full Connection (United Methodist Church) through Perkins School of Theology and Duke Divinity School. Linda is a certified church administrator, and is an ordained Deacon of the United Methodist Church.

                  Dinner is ordered off the menu at the menu price.
